Union of Composers Club
The Union of Composers Jazz Club (opened in 2007) is always vibrant with creative activity, offering its musical venue to jazz festivals, traditional jazz jams, and international and Russian jazz stars. The Union of Composers Jazz Club also hosts Sunday family brunches with a variety of musical programs for children and their parents.
For several years, the club's stage has hosted the most renowned stars of Russian jazz, rock, and blues, as well as international stars who made their debut at the Union of Composers Jazz Club. Among our stars are legendary singers and musicians such as Vladimir Kuzmin, Viktor Zinchuk, Petr Podgorodetsky, Konstantin Nikolsky, the groups Bravo, Kvartal, and Krematoriy, Alexey Kozlov and the jazz-rock ensemble Arsenal, Alexander F. Sklyar, and others.
World jazz stars are frequent guests at the Union of Composers jazz club: trombonist Roswell Rudd, saxophonist Joshua Redman, drummer Al Foster, double bassist Buster Williams, saxophonist Scott Hamilton, drummer Lenny White, bass guitarist Victor Bailey, and the Larry Willis Trio.
